DRUMS! PIANOS! oh my!

Christmas day at home is everything one would love it to be.  No where to go.  Nothing to do aside from enjoy lovely surprises and eat delicious croissants from Williams-Sonoma while drinking mimosas.  

It was a musical Christmas and the girls were so so so excited with their big gifts.  Lots of entertainment all day and hopefully for years to come.

I love the quiet when I know everything is wrapped.  Everything is ready.  The anticipation.  The peace.  Whew.

PRESENT PARTY 2015

As usual we all had reason to celebrate.  A wonderful family, tremendous blessings, good food and fun!  The girls were so excited and were busy arranging everything so each person had a pile of goodies nearby.  Lots of laughter and happy times unwrapping and admiring each gift specially selected by grammie.  Loads of beautiful things on a beautiful night.

Now off to bed.

Christmas Eve

We opted for a very low key and casual Christmas Eve this year.  Everyone was comfortable and mostly willing to snap a few photos before we headed over to grandma and papa's for the "Present Party".

Our neighbors Olivia and Joe came over and decorated everything with us - all four of them went through two tubs of frosting and endless sprinkles and glitter.  It was a deliciously, gorgeous mess!
