Summer Vacation - WI/MN - EIGHT

On our last day we intended to take a long boat ride to Kettle Falls but something happened to the boat motor so we ended up having a nice, leisurely ride back to land. It was quite lovely actually - beautiful, sunny day and gorgeous scenery. The girls spent the afternoon experimenting with moon sand and then we enjoyed a lovely family dinner at the resort restaurant. It was a fantastic, relaxing vacation in the north woods - Thank you Steve & Carolyn.

The trip continues....today we took a trip into town to check out the local sandy beach, grab an ice cream and have a few photos with "the Voyageur", the local mascot. Another BEAUTIFUL, sunny day!

A lovely day on the boat, sunny skies and the wind in our hair. Girls did really well hanging out on the lake for the morning and enjoyed some downtime playing games and crafting in the afternoon. We also enjoyed an evening boat ride where I snapped several sunset pictures...coming up.

LOOK! Avery is the only one who caught a fish all day! She was so patient and enjoyed sitting with her grandpa!
