Pinterest Project

Have you heard of the website Pinterest? I am sure you have but if not is it just full of ideas, photos, crafts, home improvement ideas, recipes, remodeling ideas, colors, clothing, photographs...well, you name it. It's a great place to gather ideas and inspiration. A friend of mine knows how much Avery loves Rapunzel so she sent this wig idea. Basically it is TONS of yarn and part of a nylon sock. We spent the better part of the afternoon cutting and creating this little gem. Fortunately Avery LOVED It and wore it all day. Unfortunately that was the only time it was ever worn. BUT still a fun thing to do together and the girls had a blast running around getting tangled up in all of the yarn strewn about the living room!

Papa

Here is our papa! He is grandpa to five grandchildren. The latest edition is little Jayson, sitting on his lap. I LOVED how the three littlest ones crowded around to hear him read a story. So sweet...the best part is that he truly loves every second of it!

Slightly out of order but...

As I am scrambling to catch up...I stumbled upon this photo of my mom and I. There were also a couple more from their visit so I threw those into this post as well.

Avery on her scoot bike. She rode that thing all summer and in a dress too!

Silly Alexandra.

Our blurry anniversary portrait....

Sundance Nature Photoshoot

The last day of our stay at Sundance I got up at the crack of dawn and wandered around the property experimenting with my camera. I took exactly 408 pictures over the course of 2 hours. It was fun wandering around and trying different things. Here are a few that I liked.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

So...I'm like 3 months behind on my blog. Time to give it a little love....and what better way than with an anniversary post. Matt and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this year! WOO HOO! We wanted to jet off to Switzerland but instead settled, and it's not really settling, for a long weekend away at the Sundance Resort. It was spectacular. Peaceful. Calm. Babbling brook right out our door. Excellent food. Amazing service. Gorgeous scenery. AND the best part, quiet time together. Love you HB!

Chocolate covered strawberries in our room - YUM!

A little hard cider on the patio - reminiscent of one of our first dates.

Just...pretty.
