Skyline Drive

We ventured off the beaten path for a bit of off road camping.  We drove down to Skyline drive and then we drove and drove and drove.  It was a slow winding road but beautiful too.  We finally settled on a campsite and enjoy perfect peace with no one in site for miles.

Playing games the camper.

Hot dogs and baked beans for dinner!

Oh my!  The light at sunset was incredible.  Everything was just golden.

Even with the ketchup face and stains I still love this shot.

THIS is my favorite.  Sisters.

Sundance Theater

We bought tickets to Sundance Summer Theater which we had not been to in years.  The show was the Wizard of Oz and it was very well done.  The girls picked a spot on the hillside and got all snuggled in!

Last Day in Wisconsin

Last day in Wisconsin.  The kiddos wanted to a Lemonade Stand for years so we finally decided to just get it done.  Sunday morning was probably not the best time to do this but it worked out well.  Kids had fun and Julie called on a several friends who stopped by.  I also was really surprised at the number of people who drove by, went home to get a few dollars, and then came back.  All of them saying that their kids had lemonade stands once upon a time and they understood how excited the kids were to receive customers.  Good people.

The kids by their favorite climbing tree - which actually isn't very tall - which I suppose it s good thing.  Safety.

Alexandra on the Shore of Lake Michigan

I couldn't decide.  So pretty.

Butterfly Butterfly

I'm guessing, someday, I will look at this picture and forgot why I posted it but for now I know my sister will understand.  The ringmaster at the Baraboo Circus World Museum.  Classic.

Last Day

We all hung out this day.  A few of us went into town to walk around, a few went exploring in the Dells, it was nice and easy.

Grandma and Frank.

Mom, Dad and I hiked around 1/2 of Devil's Lake.

Gotta wear a clown nose in these parts.

Badmitten was a huge hit with everyone.  Kids and Adults!

Keeping score.

All the sisters in the kitchen.

Probably too much electronic time....but I guess they were bonding somehow too.

Brent and Cindy were super sweet!  They never get to celebrate the girls' birthdays so they had a little party for them with cupcakes, gift cards and a candy filled piƱata!

Brady probably hates this photo but i love it - such pretty red lips.

Caden working on the fire.

Cindy brought along some packet that made the fire dance with color - beautiful!
