Sweet

Alexandra has a little friend named Mason. He is just about the kindest little boy and is always a good sport when he plays with our family as it is usually a bunch of girls and him. He and Alexandra always do a good job playing together and talking. It truly is SWEET. I missed a prime photo op but just moments before this picture was snapped Alexandra was applying make-up and Mason was brushing her hair. Truly, my heart melts. We love you and your extreme kindness Mason!

The Builders

Lately, daddy and the ladies have spent a lot of time building and constructing. The girls usually want a picture when they are finished. Here is the latest little city.

Things that make you go hmm....

Avery came out of her room this early April morning wearing a pull-up on the outside of her clothing. I asked her about it and she just said that she felt like it. So, for a few hours she wore a pull-up. Hmmm?

First Tooth

Alexandra lost her first tooth on March 26th. We were playing at a friends' house when it came out and she is convinced that the combination of a yummy brownie, playing the wii and her friend Allison did the trick....so now, whenever a tooth is really loose, according to Alexandra, we need to go to Allison's house and repeat the brownie and wii playing.

She was very excited about the whole thing and I...well, I was a bit sad that my sweet baby girl is loosing baby teeth because it means that she is really no longer my baby but every day, every hour, bit by bit, she is becoming a girl and just growing up.

I did however ADORE this tooth box she made. When she was born, I received a little baby ring with her birthstone on it. It fit on her pinky finger for just a couple of days and now I wear it around my neck. That little ring came in this box and she decorated it to hold her teeth and put them under her pillow. Can you tell that I am sentimental? :)

Family Ski Day

Great day in late March full of skiing, snow and family fun. Girls did great and at the end of the day both girls were off on their own. So happy!
