Lots of Pictures - Family Camping

We rented a pop-up trailer for a weekend of family camping! Super fun weekend and we WILL do it again!

Daddy and Alexandra setting up camp.

Girls making home made ziploc bag ice cream.

Not a great photo but the girls were all snuggly in their new sleeping bags having a bedtime snack.

Daddy and Alexandra warming their feet by the morning fire.

Our rock people project - results below.

Alexandra LOVED having a clothes line and was constantly looking for items to hang up!

Not sure if this is good or not but daddy is showing them how to start a fire with a magnifying glass.

Our rock people - ROCK!

A big bee got into our pop-up so Alexandra quickly crafted a sign to tell the bees they were not allowed.

Roasting marshmellows.

Our friends, the Walkers, stopped by for dinner and s'mores. Here are Avery, Ella and Alexandra relaxing by the fire.

Sweet Avery - early Sunday morning.

Short nature walk.

We found several larger rocks and we dubbed it the "city of rocks" - we spent the morning climbing and exploring.

This is the best I can get with my 50mm lens - I need a wide angle!

The girls running to greet each other - so sweet!

...now it's daddy's turn.

Alexandra and Daddy returning from a geocache and below are Alexandra's new treasures!

Sunday afternoon we hiked up to Timpanogos Cave. It is a good 1.5-2 hour walk - all uphill! The girls did GREAT...and it didn't hurt that daddy was giving someone a piggy back the entire way up (no it wasn't me)!

And more rides on the way down too!

If you look closely you will see Avery's little face nestled into this blanket - it was a chilly morning so she made a nest!

Hand warming by the fire.

Time to go home and take a shower!
