Last Ski Lesson

My mountain hottie.

Alexandra was not too happy at this moment because she wanted to ski through the trees, got stuck and Nicole made her get out of it on her own.  Good lessons are sometimes hard to learn.

Oh...poor Avery.  Each of the girls had made a sweet thank-you note and picture for Nicole.  Somehow or other daddy and I lost her pictures between the car and meeting them after class.  We scoured the ski hill, we looked under cars, we looked on the mountain but we couldn't find it.  She was so disappointed...so sad...it was such a special note.  Sigh.  Sorry baby.

Can't wait to send them again next year - our little bunny ladies.

Easter Family Fun

Easter Sunday!  Beautiful, warm, sunny, fun family day!

Chocolate bunnies - ate the entire thing in one sitting.

Then a walk, in the wagon, down to grammies and papas.

Atlas joined us too for some pets and photos!  He's so sweet.

Time for the egg hunt...

Lady Loves

Eggs!

We had a little egg dying party.  Grandma and Grandpa and also our daycare provider (well, more like a family) Karen.  We all dyed eggs, ate a yummy dinner and had lively conversation.  It was just a plain ole' pleasant evening!

Easter Party

Super sweet fun!  Since we had ski lessons on the Saturday before Easter and would have to miss the local egg hunts, we decided to have an Easter Party of our own!  It was wildly fun with a great group of little girls!  The girls started the day by decorating their egg tree using branches I cut from the back 40.

I just love this picture - such a sweet, serene face.

Then, when everything was ready....they waited, and waited and waited.  This is both of them staring at a clock.

We started the party with an indoor egg hunt, as it snowed a ton that morning.

Then we made Easter Bunny faces out of cotton balls, pipe cleaners and felt pieces.

Alexandra....

Reia...

Ella....

Avery...

and Kylie.

After some cookies, they all played several games that Alexandra had devised...like cotton-ball-on-a-spoon-follow-the-yarn-line.

Then toss-the-plastic-egg-in-the-bucket!

And this gem called crab-walk-over-an-easter-basket!

Super fun sweet group of girls!
